An undergraduate Byrne seminar on Global Agriculture Health and Food included a meal and presentation by Harvest Chef Ian Keith from the Institute of Food Health and Nutrition.Each summer the Rutgers Summer Service-Learning Class travels to Thailand, to study the rural Thai Health Care System. Rutgers undergraduate students in the Agroecology class visited an urban farms in New York City.
Graduate students from the Department of Plant Biology and Pathology and the School of Public Health collaborated on an urban agricultural project in Nairobi, Kenya.
