Lipidomics, the study of a broad range of lipids in the context of a biological system, has exploded in interest within the last few years, due in part to the rapid development of analytical tools such as mass spectrometry. This symposium will highlight the use of mass spectrometry-based lipidomics to answer nutrition and health-related questions, and will address the directions in which lipidomics is moving. The symposium is free and open to all with an interest in lipid metabolism in biology, health, and nutrition.
